Jeffrey Epstein purchased a more modest island - Little St James - back in 1998, but acquired the more expansive adjacent island in the year 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
The released images reveal he had created plans to build upon the substantial island by constructing homes, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a swimming pool.
Visible on the plan is a channel, a strait in the US Virgin Islands, indicated on the lower right-hand corner.
The architectural drawing is marked up in red pen markings and includes a legend detailing distinct parts of the land.
In addition to this are what look to be an additional nine property layouts and engineering blueprints, including plans for marina coverings.
